AFC (“Ambition. Foundation. Creation.,” “AFC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates afsoccer.club and provides private youth soccer and multi-sport training in Lake Forest, Orange County, California. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to afsoccer.club, our booking and account features, and the messages we send. By using the site or creating an account, you agree to this Policy and to our Terms of Service.
This Policy applies to everyone who interacts with AFC online:
Accounts and bookings are intended to be created and managed by an adult (18 or older). Athletes do not create their own accounts.
We do not use automatically collected data to build advertising profiles, and we do not run third-party advertising trackers on the site.
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. We use a small, deliberate set of cookies and similar technologies, grouped by purpose:
These are required for the site to function and cannot be switched off in our system. The main one is our sign-in cookie, afc_session. It keeps you logged in to your account and is an encrypted, signed token marked HttpOnly (not readable by page scripts), SameSite=Lax, and Secure over HTTPS. It expires about 30 days after sign-in or when you log out. We also rely on short-lived security measures that protect sign-in and form submissions from cross-site request forgery.
These remember choices you make, such as recently selected booking options, so the site behaves the way you expect.
Where used, these help us understand in aggregate how the site is used so we can improve it. We use them only to measure and improve the site, never to track you across other websites.
When you reach checkout, our payment processor, Stripe, may set its own cookies to process the payment securely and to help detect and prevent fraud. Those cookies are governed by Stripe’s privacy policy.
We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking pixels, or sell cookie data to advertisers.
Strictly necessary cookies are required to sign in and book; if you block them, those features will not work. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and most browsers let you refuse cookies or warn you before accepting them. If we ever introduce non-essential cookies that require consent under applicable law, we will request that consent first and give you a way to manage it. We also honor browser-level opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC) where the law requires.

Our programs are for youth athletes, but our website and accounts are directed to and intended for use by parents and legal guardians (adults 18 or older), not children. We do not knowingly let a child create an account, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child. We collect a minor athlete’s information from the parent or guardian who enrolls them, and we use it only to schedule and deliver training and to keep the athlete safe.
Consistent with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), a parent or guardian may review the athlete’s information, ask us to correct or delete it, and withdraw consent for its further use by contacting us. We do not market directly to children. If you believe a child has provided us information directly, please contact us and we will delete it.
With the consent you provide in the waiver, we may capture photos or video of athletes during sessions for coaching and promotional use. You can decline or withdraw media consent at any time by contacting us. Withdrawal applies going forward and does not require us to recall materials already printed or published. We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. We retain transaction, tax, and accounting records for the period required by law, which is generally several years. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it. You can ask us to delete your account, though some records may be retained where the law requires.
We use technical and organizational safeguards, including HTTPS encryption in transit, hashed passwords, signed and HttpOnly session cookies, role-based access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers. Payment card data is handled by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified processor, so full card numbers never reach our servers. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so while we work hard to protect your information we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights:
California residents (CCPA/CPRA). You have the rights above and the right not to be treated differently for exercising them. We have not sold or shared personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising in the prior 12 months. You may submit a request yourself or through an authorized agent.
How to exercise your rights. Email dre@afctraining.com or call (949) 600-3097. We will verify your identity, and your authority to act for an athlete, before responding, and we will respond within the time the law requires.
We operate in the United States, and our providers store and process data in the United States. If you access the site from outside the U.S., you understand that your information will be processed in the U.S., where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.
The site may link to third-party sites, such as our social media pages or the member portal. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of sites we do not operate. Review their policies before sharing information with them.
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above, and for material changes we will provide a more prominent notice. Continued use of the site after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Policy.
